Matcha Latte Art Championship
We are hosting the Second Annual Hong Kong Matcha Latte Art Championship 2025!
Get ready for the ultimate showdown, this is your stage to shine! Here's how to join:
Matcha Sample collection: February 15th – February 21st
- Competitors must upload their matcha latte art image on their Instagram story and tag “Matchali”, “WPM”, and “cp-meji” to be eligible to receive the free sample.
- Collect a Matchali matcha powder sample from our Moon Street location for free.
Online Preliminaries: February 15th – March 1st
- Entry is free of charge. Complete the registration form below with your contact details and submit a top-down photo of your matcha latte art through the registration form by March 1st, 23:59.
- Include a handwritten note next to your matcha latte art with "Hong Kong Matcha Latte Art Championship 2025" written on it.
- Ensure clarity and originality - blurry, reflective, or edited photos may be disqualified.
- Only Hong Kong residents are allowed to participate.
- Our judges will select 32 participants to advance to the finals, chosen for their matcha artwork’s superior beauty, creativity, and difficulty.
- Matchali will announce the selected participants on their Instagram. Make sure to follow both accounts! Matchali will also contact the selected participants by email.
- Matchali reserves the right to the final decision.
The Grand Finals: March 12th, 17:00 - 22:00 at Matchali, Moon Street, Wan Chai
- Final participants fee: $250, to be paid beforehand. Payable by stripe link.
- Check-in starts at 16:00.
- The top 32 finalists from the preliminaries will battle it out for the grand prize.
- Enjoy light refreshments, drinks, and mingle with friends.
